Grant Africa is an independent South African information website that publishes guides about SASSA grants and SASSA news. We are not SASSA and we are not a government website. Grant applications, status checks, appeals and payments are handled only by SASSA, through its official websites: sassa.gov.za and srd.sassa.gov.za.

All content on this site is provided free of charge, for general information only. While every guide is researched, written, fact-checked and approved by our team before publishing, we cannot guarantee that any page is complete or current at the moment you read it. SASSA's official information always overrides anything published here, as explained in our Disclaimer. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice.

3. No Personal Information

This website does not ask for, and you must not send us, your ID number, phone number, PIN, banking details or any other personal information. Our Privacy Policy and POPIA Compliance page explain how we handle information. In short, we collect none.

4. Acceptable Use

You may read, share and link to our guides for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:

  • copy and republish our content as your own;
  • use this site or its content to mislead grant recipients, or to imitate SASSA or Grant Africa;
