We Are Not SASSA

Grant Africa (grantafrica.co.za) is an independent information website. We are not SASSA (the South African Social Security Agency), we are not part of any government department, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by SASSA or the South African government in any way. The names "SASSA" and the names of the individual grants are used on this site only to describe the topics our guides are about.

The Official Word Is Final

The only official sources for grant information are SASSA's own websites:

Every date, amount, requirement and step published on Grant Africa is researched against official information and fact-checked by our team before publishing. Even so, SASSA can change dates, amounts and processes at any time, and mistakes can happen. If anything on this site ever differs from the official SASSA websites, the official websites are correct and final. Always confirm important details, especially payment dates and anything about your own application, on the official portal before you act.

We Cannot Check Your Personal Status

Grant Africa cannot see, check or change your grant application, your status or your payments. Only SASSA can do that. We will never ask you for your ID number, phone number, PIN or banking details in order to "check" anything, and any person or website that does should be treated as a scam.

No Professional Advice

The content on this site is general information and guidance only. It is not legal, financial or professional advice, and it does not create any relationship between you and Grant Africa. For advice about your own situation, speak to SASSA directly or to a qualified professional.

External Links

This site links to official and trusted external websites for your convenience. We are not responsible for the content, availability or privacy practices of websites we do not own.

Accuracy And Corrections

We work hard to keep every guide accurate: each one is researched, written, fact-checked and approved through the process described on our About Us page. If you find an error, please email info@grantafrica.co.za. Corrections from readers are respected and fixed as quickly as we can.

Liability

Grant Africa provides this website and its content "as is", for information only, and accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on information published here where the official SASSA source should have been used instead.
