Cookies Policy

What Cookies Are
Cookies are small files that a website can store in your browser. They are widely used to remember preferences and, on many websites, to track visitors. Grant Africa is built to need almost none of that.
What Grant Africa Itself Stores
Grant Africa sets no cookies of its own and runs no visitor tracking. The only thing stored, in your browser's local storage on your own device, is:
- your display preference (light or dark mode), so the site looks the way you left it.
It never leaves your device, is not sent to us, and cannot identify you. Grant Africa is published in South Africa's official languages, and each language version is a separate page on this website, so reading the site in another language sets nothing extra.
Cookies From Services You Choose To Use
- Google Maps: our Contact page shows an embedded Google Map. Loading that map may involve Google cookies under Google's own policies. You can read about Google's cookies here: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Advertising Cookies (If Advertising Is Enabled)
To cover running costs, this site may in future display advertising through Google AdSense or Mediavine Journey. If that happens, the advertising partner may set cookies on your device to show and measure ads, under its own published policies. Grant Africa does not receive your identity from advertising partners, and advertising never affects our editorial content.
How To Control Cookies
Every modern browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. Look under your browser's Privacy or Settings section for "Cookies" or "Site data". Blocking cookies will not stop any guide on this site from working. At most, the site may forget your display preference between visits.
